To get the most out of our Website Visitor Identification tool, it’s a good idea to set certain visitors as ISPs. This action will remove unwanted data from your Dashboard and enable you to concentrate on viable leads. However, it is important to note that setting a company as an ISP does not prevent you from tracking them in the future. If you send a tagged email to one of these companies and they subsequently visit your website, our software will track them. Their visit details will appear on your Dashboard and Leads page. In this sense, tagging overrides the “Set as ISP” setting.
They will be assigned a unique visitor ID that tracks their future visits and overrides their status as an ISP. Consequently, their data will show up in your list of recent visitors.
